Other Department Updates

  • ADVISING HAS GONE ONLINE!

ECON Academic Advisors (Lauren, Mo and Jessamy) have moved all advising appts for the rest of the semester to WebEx for virtual or phone appointments.

You will still schedule an appointment in Nexus the same way. It will ask you to select whether you want a phone or webex virtual appointment.

    Advising by WebEx Online Appointments:

Confirmation emails you receive after booking will provide you with an Appointment Link to use to log into WebEx at the time of your appointment.

    Advising by Phone:

Students who don’t have internet or camera/microphone can call into the WebEx appointment using their phone. The confirmation email you receive will provide you with the Webex Phone number to call and access code to use when calling in for your phone appointment.

    Advising by Email:

You may opt to ask for advising by email instead. Please email your advisor if you have questions or would like to go over your requirements and summer/fall course suggestions. We have Peer Academic Assistants helping us answer these emails. We may ask them to help answer your questions or go over your requirements or provide you with assistance in viewing your requirements in your advisement report.

The above info applies to the full time Staff Advisors (Lauren, Mo, and Jess).

ECON Faculty advisors are still working independently. If you have questions for them, please email them directly to find out the options they are providing for meeting or discussing information.
