WGSS 1105: Gender and Sexuality in Everyday Life

What is feminism? What does it have to do with race or class, disability or immigration?

In this course, we will use a feminist lens to study gender, sexuality, and the relationship between gender and sexuality and many other aspects of our worlds: history, culture, politics, economics, art.

This course fulfills UConn General Education Content Area and Competency requirements for the Social Sciences (CA2) and Diversity and Multiculturalism (CA4).
