    Prepare for the Fair: Internship Showcase & Employer Panel

    New to internships? Looking for your next experience? Nervous about the Internship & Co-op Fair? Come learn from fellow UConn students who have interned across the country! Represented internship sites include: Google, Pratt & Whitney, Cigna, Elizabeth Arden, the Nashville Predators NHL Team, and the Boston Children’s Hospital – among many more. Employers will also be on-hand featuring short panels to help you prepare for the Fair later in the week!

    Résumé Lab

    Tuesday, February 5th, HBL Electronic Classroom 1, 4-6pm
    Wondering how you can improve your résumé before the Internship & Co-op Fair? Or perhaps you’re a bit stuck on how to get started? Have no fear, the Center for Career Development is here! To start, there will be a brief 10-minute presentation to go over the basic sections of a résumé. Afterwards, the lab is free to any and all questions or to work on your résumé. You can leave when you’re done! Laptops and/or hard copies are encouraged.

    Interviewing 101 Webinar

    Thursday, February 7th, CCD On Demand, released at 11am
    Odds are, your internship or co-op search will include an interview! Kick your feet up and learn about successful interviewing strategies from the comfort of home. This webinar, featuring both Center for Career Development staff and Indeed recruiters, will share tips and strategies for presenting yourself in the most successful manner. This will be released via the Center for Career Development’s online video platform: CCD On Demand!
