  • Interested in Urban Development and Education?

Want to make your Spring Break meaningful? Apply to the Detroit Alternative Break focused on Urban Development, Education, & Civic Engagement. Have your Spring Break be adventurous while also doing service in Detroit, Michigan. During our eight educational pre and post trip meetings, we will be exploring education systems in place in the U.S., how city infrastructure and the criminal justice system relates to the school-to-prison pipeline, and community activism efforts in these urban communities. On the trip we will be working with local community partners for both direct and indirect service opportunities.

Join 44 of your peers in service and learning about the issues that are happening in urban communities all across the nation.

Applications are due Wednesday, October 24th at 12 NOON!
