    DataONE Summer Internship Program - Data Observation Network for Earth (DataONE), National Science Foundation (NSF)

    The Data Observation Network for Earth (DataONE) offers 9 week summer research internships starting in May and ending in July. Interns are paired with mentors and undertake a program of work centered around a chosen topic. Participation in the program after the midterm is contingent on satisfactory performance.

    DISCIPLINES
    Open to all fields.

    ACADEMIC LEVEL
    Current Graduate Students. Students Working on Master's Thesis. Students Working on Doctoral Dissertation. Postdoctoral Scholars. 

    CITIZENSHIP
    No citizenship requirements.

    ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
    Must be currently enrolled or employed at a US university or other research institution. Must currently reside in and be eligible to work in the United States. Postgraduate students must have received their degree within the past five years. Must be at least 18 years of age by program start date. Cover letter. Resume. Letter of reference.

    STIPEND
    Interns receive a stipend of $5,000 paid in two installments. Travel expenses will also be covered.
