This April 13-14, former US Vice President Al Gore and The Climate Reality Project will be hosting a free Climate Reality Leadership Training in New York City.This is a great opportunity for students interested in climate advocacy to learn from leading voices in climate science, grassroots organizing, government, environmental justice, green business, and more.
WHY ATTEND THE TRAINING?
- Community Building. Hear from and network with climate advocates across sectors and generations and join other trained leaders to make local impact through our Climate Reality chapters program.
- Compelling Content. Enjoy a packed two-day agenda, including learning directly from former Vice President Al Gore on local climate impacts and solutions.
- Growing Our Power. Collaborate with like-minded youth climate advocates to brainstorm, design, and implement practical solutions through our new leadership and campaign development program.
Students will gain skills in digital communications, building campaigns and coalitions, and accessing climate funding. After the training, they will become part of a network of nearly 50,000 Climate Reality Leaders around the globe working to build a just and sustainable world.
