The Systematic Health Action Research Program (SHARP lab) led by UConn Professor Blair T. Johnson is recruiting undergraduate research assistants who are interested in registering for course credit during the Spring 2024 semester. The research project you would be working on focuses on Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). A limited number of research assistant positions can be filled. Priority consideration will be given to students who:
- Fill out the Google form below by 11:00am on Thursday, December 21 and attend one of the information sessions taking place each day through that day.
- Are available during Winter Break.
- Would like to take more than 1 credit of research coursework.
Note that each credit equals roughly 3 hours of research-related tasks completed per week during the spring semester. Though we encourage in-person completion of your tasks and having a set schedule, research related hours may be able to completed on a remote/hybrid schedule that is more flexible than a typical academic course.
