US Congress – Republic of Korea National Assembly Exchange Program
The US Congress-Republic of Korea National Assembly Exchange Program seeks to broaden the perspectives of Korean and American young people on the bilateral relationship. Applicants for the US delegation must be US citizens between the ages of 21-27 who have a demonstrated interest in the US government, US foreign policy, and/or US-Korean relations with a minimum of two academic years at an accredited institution of higher learning. Must be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination. The Committee on Foreign Affairs, Trade, and Unification of the Republic of Korea National Assembly selects the Korean students. Participation is fully funded including domestic flights to and from the delegates’ hometowns, international flights to and from Korea, and hotels, meals, local transportation while in DC, and all program-related costs while in Korea. Note: this program is *not* geared toward US applicants who have already had significant opportunities to travel or live in Korea. Deadline: May 21, 2023 https://www.meridian.org/project/2023-u-s-congress-republic-of-korea-national-assembly-exchange-program/
