UNIV 1784 Facilitator applications for the Fall 2022 semester are due tomorrow, Wednesday, 11/24 by 11:59pm. This is an exciting leadership opportunity designed specifically for Honors students that allows you to work closely with other students and Honors Program faculty and staff. Students who participate in this program obtain valuable experience developing leadership and communication skills. Don’t miss your chance to make a positive impact at UConn and help new Honors students feel a sense of belonging!
If you are interested, apply using this link: https://honors.uconn.edu/univ-1784/. Applications are due November 24th and will be reviewed over winter break. Students who are selected to become facilitators will be notified in January and provided a permission number to enroll in EGEN 3200, a 3-credit honors course about leadership and peer mentoring used to train future facilitators. This course is required for all facilitators, and it will take place on Wednesdays from 2:30-5:00pm next semester. Interested applicants should ensure that this time slot is available on their schedules.
If you didn’t have the chance to facilitate in your sophomore year, you still can. The only prerequisite to apply for this position is having taken UNIV 1784.
Enjoy your fall break!
