Are you a current student or recent graduate working on a project relating to the UN Sustainable Development Goals? Please consider taking part in the U21 RISE Showcase!
RISE – Real Impact on Society and Environment – is a Universitas 21 (U21) opportunity to showcase student projects tied to sustainability and social innovation and to connect those students with a network of experts in academia and industry. UConn has been invited to nominate up to 4 student-led projects for this prestigious award.
In addition to making global connections and gaining professional support, participants have the chance to win $2,000 from U21 to put towards their project.
UConn Global will offer a number of virtual information sessions over Microsoft Teams to discuss the showcase, eligibility requirements, judging criteria, and submission guidelines. If you are unable to attend a session, but would still like to participate, please contact us at global@uconn.edu.
Please note that UConn students must apply to the RISE Showcase through UConn's Office of Global Affairs.
