Internships & Volunteering

  • Judicial Branch Internship

The Judicial Branch Experiential Learning Programs (JBELP) will once again be offering a virtual internship program that will offer interested students an interactive platform consisting of an in-depth overview of the various roles and functions of the branch.

Students will be required to participate in scheduled programming eight hours per week for ten weeks. The program will run from February 8, 2021 through April 16, 2021.  Additionally, students must be available to participate in weekly live classes on Monday and Wednesday mornings throughout the semester.

They will be accepting applications beginning December 1st through December 31, 2020 via the Intern Portal on their website: www.jud.ct.gov/elp.  They will be accepting only 60 students to participate in the virtual internship.

Priority placement will be given to those senior students graduating in May 2021.

Interested students will want to submit their applications as soon as they can, as this internship opportunity got many applications for the Fall.
