    Associate Professor in Public Health, Tenure Track Faculty Position

     

    The UCONN School of Medicine's Department of Public Health Sciences is recruiting for a full-time open rank faculty position.  Investigators in all public health areas are encouraged to apply. The successful applicant will be expected to maintain a nationally visible and externally funded research program, mentor students, and teach within our public health and medical/dental programs. This position is one of several faculty openings in our growing department.

     

    The Department of Public Health Sciences directs the University's CEPH-accredited MPH program along with a PhD in Public Health and a variety of certificates in addiction research, disabilities and health disparities. The department is also a key contributor to the medical/dental curriculum. Faculty conduct research on a wide range of diseases, substance abuse, environmental health, and global and domestic health systems. Department faculty maintain extensive associations with international, national, state and local health agencies. The department has a strong culture of collaborative and integrative work across public health areas. The Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine, located on our campus, is affiliated with the Medical School.

     

    An earned doctorate related to public health or evidence of productivity and success in public health with a doctorate. This is a 12-month full-salary tenure track/tenured position.
