  • Social Marketing Assistant - Dept. of Psychiatry

    Student Part-Time Employment Position

     The Family Adversity and Resilience Research Program within the Department of Psychiatry is seeking an individual with knowledge of electronic marketing techniques (e.g. social media and electronic advertising) to assist with subject recruitment for several research studies focused on the promotion of healthy development in children who have experienced stressful life events and other kinds of adversity.  This individual will be primarily responsible for recruiting parents and children using electronic and social media approaches as well as working with community organizations to disseminate study information.

    Requirements:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience with e-marketing and web design
    • Excellent interpersonal skills 
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Creative thinker
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality
    • Ability to work independently
    • Must have transportation (mileage associated with recruitment activities will be reimbursed)

    Must be currently enrolled as a student in a formal accredited program upon hire. MUST VERIFY STUDENT STATUS. Acceptable documentation includes either a letter from academic advisor on letterhead; official transcripts; or a course schedule listing current term of enrollment, name of educational institution and student’s name.

    Hours and pay:

    • 8-10 hours/week
    • $12/hour
