Interest in Law School or a Legal Career?

Are you interested in becoming a lawyer or pursuing a legal career? Do you want to find out how to write a personal statement for law school? What’s the Accelerated Program in Law all about?

The UConn Pre-Law Advising Office is here to help UConn pre-law undergraduate students and alumni with all of the above questions and more. We offer advising and workshops throughout the year as well as host special events and panels of practicing attorneys representing different areas of law. Here are a few helpful tips about our procedures and the next steps to become involved:

    1. Subscribe to our listserv to take full advantage of valuable information and opportunities from our office. Email prelaw@uconn.edu from your UConn email account and request to be added, stating your year of graduation.

    2. If you have specific questions or concerns, make an appointment with Diane Whitney, JD (UConn’s Pre-Law Advisor) through https://nexus.uconn.edu/.

    3. Semester events will be posted at https://prelaw.uconn.edu/scheduling-appointments/ as they become available.
