Important Dates/Deadlines

  • TODAY IS DEADLINE TO CHANGE TO or FROM P/F SPRING

    Just a reminder that today, May 15th, is the last day to put a SPRING 2020 course on Pass/Fail or to take it off Pass/Fail 

    ABOUT PASS/FAIL:

    • If you are considering putting any courses on pass/fail this semester, you are the encouraged to consult with the Financial Aid Office to ensure putting a course on pass/fail will not negatively impact your aid or (SAP) satisfactory academic progress.

    • To put a course on pass/fail this spring 2020 semester:
    • OR to put a course BACK to a letter grade status:

           fill out this online form that goes directly to the Registrar’s Office to process:         https://registrar.uconn.edu/pass-fail-spring-2020/

     

    • You have until 11:59 pm on May 15th to put a course on pass/fail. If you are considering it, you may want to see your final grade before doing so.
    • Students who chose the Pass-Fail option may revert it back to a letter grade by 11:59 pm on May 15, 2020.

     

    ABOUT DROPPING COURSES:

    • The deadline to drop a course has passed on May 1st. If you believe you did not pass a course or are not satisfied with the final grade, you may put it on pass/fail.
    • If you did not pass a course, even on pass/fail, you are strongly encouraged to consult with the Financial Aid Office to ensure it will not negatively impact your financial aid or (SAP) satisfactory academic progress.  
    • If you failed a course that is a pre-requisite to a summer or fall course, you need to change your summer/fall courses accordingly to fulfill the pre-req first. You will be dropped from the subsequent course at a later time if you did not complete the pre-requisite.
    • If you are planned to graduate in May and failed a course you need for your degree, you will need to contact registrar@uconn.edu to have your graduate date moved to Summer 2020 or Fall 2020 based on your new plan to complete your requirements and be sure to enroll in the courses to complete the requirements.
