Other Opportunities

  • CLAS Women's Leadership Collective

The program, CLAS Women’s Leadership Collective, will provide undergraduate students with a unique leadership learning experience coupled with group mentorship from UConn alumnae. The selected undergraduate student leaders will be engaged in a full-day learning experience in fall 2020, featuring alumni speakers on key issues that affect women in the workplace and society. This experience will be coupled with group mentorship in Mentorship Circles, which connect groups of alumni and students with similar career interests. Mentorship Circles will convene periodically throughout the academic year, including at a year-end celebration.

    A few key points:

    • Interested undergraduate students should apply and request a nomination from a UConn faculty or staff member by May 1st.
      • Applications and nominations are short- only 3 questions with a max of 300 words. So we hope it’s not a heavy lift for either students or their faculty/staff nominator
    • Virtual interviews will be scheduled for the week of May 11th.
