  • ECON 2467 SUMMER SESSION 1

    ECON 2467 is being offered in Summer I.  In this course students will use economic analysis to investigate environmental issues related to the use of natural resources and how human activities affect the provision of ecosystem services in the marine environment. Particular attention will be given to empirical investigations aimed at addressing real-world problems in coastal and large marine ecosystems. Topics include management of fisheries, aquaculture, marine and coastal recreation, marine pollution, offshore oil and gas, seabed mining, renewable ocean energy sources, coastal land use and climate adaptation, and the impacts of climate change.
