Dean Gladis Kersaint welcomes your questions, ideas, and comments regarding the Neag School. Please submit your query at s.uconn.edu/askgladis; questions and answers will be published in Neag School News and archived on MyNeag.

Q: In light of the coronavirus, is there anything being done to increase the cleanliness, decreasing the passing of germs, in the Gentry Building?

A: This question is addressed by Jeffrey Crouse, Neag School Chief Operating Officer:

Thank you for the question. UConn’s custodial teams have already started elevated the frequency of disinfecting touch points (faucets, doorknobs, flush knobs, shower handles, etc.) as well as to disinfect soiled surfaces as they are encountered. Our custodial and maintenance teams have also been asked to wash hands frequently throughout the day.

We have placed hand sanitizers throughout the building and advise everyone to take necessary precautions for the spread of gems.
