If you are looking for meaningful summer work here on campus, then UConn Pre-College Summer and UConn First Summer have an opportunity for you. Pre-College Summer is a program for high school students who want to experience what it is like to be a college student before actually attending college. They take classes with UConn faculty, live in residence halls, eat in dining halls, and engage with the campus community in a variety of ways. First Summer is a program for new students to get on campus early and start earning credits before the fall semester.
Our programs are looking to hire 15-18 Residential Staff Members for 5-6 weeks this summer. Housing and meals would be provided by the program along with a stipend. Staff members are responsible for putting on social programs in the evenings, maintaining order in the residence hall, and supervising smaller groups of students who are taking a class together.
