The Summer Undergraduate Research Fund (SURF) Award program provides thousands of dollars in support of undergraduate students' summer research or creative projects. The SURF program is open to undergraduate students in all majors at all campuses who plan to graduate no earlier than December 2020. Students can apply for funding of up to $4,000 per student.
The SURF application is now open and accepting applications. The application deadline is February 3, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. Please encourage interested students to attend SURF Office Hours if they have questions related to this award program. Students are welcome to bring their draft project proposal, budget, or timeline for review.
