  • Stand Out When You Start Out - Study Abroad

According to the GLOSSARI project where 20,000 students from the University of Georgia were tracked for ten years, “those who participated in study abroad programs performed better in school after returning to their American universities.”

So Why Not Consider an Education Abroad Program?

Atend a collaborative advising session with the Education Abroad office:

    Wednesday, November 20th

    11 AM – 12 PM in Arjona 225

The session will be geared towards students who want to study abroad, but may not necessarily be sure about what programs would best suit them or their academic/personal needs.

Even if you already have an idea of the program you would like to participate in, this program is also a good opportunity to learn more about relevant coursework and how it might apply your particular plan of study.

We will also address additional concerns that students commonly have about this exciting but also sometimes intimidating process.

During this session, we will cover not just the application process and coursework, but will also work as a group to develop a better idea of what you might want to get out of the experience.

To better help us plan for the event, we ask that you register online through NEXUS:   https://nexus.uconn.edu/secure_per/events/event_registration.php?ser=1532&rc=0769603178.
