For sophomore students pursuing the University Honors Laureate award: the Honors GPS Team has scheduled their fall 2019 workshops for the UHL Leadershp Experience. Completing the UHL Leadership Experience is a requirement to obtain the UHL award at graduation, and the first step in completing the UHL Leadership Experience is attending an Honors GPS workshop.
UConn Honors believes that our students have the passion, skills, and drive to change the world for the better. At the workshop, the Honors GPS Team will introduce you to the Leadership Experience, walk you through its steps, and facilitate conversations about how Honors students can develop their leadership capacities while improving their communities.
Workshops are scheduled for the following dates, times, and locations:
Tuesday, September 17, 5 PM, Buckley Classroom
Wednesday, October 2, 7 PM, Oak 110
Monday, October 21, 4 PM, Oak 105
Thursday, November 7, 5 PM, Buckley Classroom
Tuesday, November 12, 6:30 PM, Buckley Classroom
Please RSVP using this link. Participation at each workshop is limited to the first 30 students.
If you have already attended a workshop for the Leadership Experience last semester, you do not have to attend another. First-year students pursuing the UHL award will be invited to start the Leadership Experience through attending a workshop in spring 2020.
