Independent Study courses are often not pre-coded with Honors grading meaning they won't earn Honors credit automatically. If you search for the course in the Dyanmic Class Search, check Honors Classes Only, and it appears, that's great news. If not, you will need to submit an Honors conversion request for approval by the instructor, then Honors advisor. After the work is approved and a B- or better grade in the course is confirmed, Honors credit will be posted to your transcript, typically taking 3-4 weeks after the end of the semester.
