Graduating Seniors

  • COMM Seniors - Are you considering Grad School?

UConn’s Department of Communication is still accepting applications for Fall 2019 admission into our M.A. in Communication program.

Our graduate programs stress the integration of theory and quantitative research in Communication. Our programs emphasize a wide range of research and data analytic skills, and are designed to prepare students for careers in academic, commercial, or non-profit spheres. Areas of specialization include interpersonal communication, persuasion, communication technology, nonverbal communication, risk communication, and media effects.

The Department offers graduate assistantships that include a tuition waiver, a subsidized health insurance plan, and a highly competitive stipend. Graduate assistants have opportunities to teach stand-alone courses in various areas of specialization.
