    • 3/12 Multiple Paths to a Career in Business

This presentationis for students lookomg to work in the business industry but are not currently in the school of business. Students will meet a variety of alumni who will offer alternatives and success stories. Tuesday, 3/12, 3:30 PM, ITE 336.

The business industry as a whole, whether corporate, entrepreneurship, or small business - benefits from the fact that students from a variety of disciplines are interested in working in this field. An alumni panel representing many UConn majors besides business, will share how they made the decision to work in business and found success doing so. Our panel will include an entrepreneur - an econ major who started his own business; a scientist (bio major) who is working in the business side of a pharmaceutical company; a college recruiter who hires non-business majors to work in her business; a communications grad working for a business technology company and others who have navigated the business world with a non-business degree.

Students are welcome to pre-register, though not required for attendance purposes: https://uconn.joinhandshake.com/events/276987
