  • Frontiers Exhibition-Save the Date-Program Changes

The Office of Undergraduate Research is proud to announce that the upcoming 22nd annual Frontiers in Undergraduate Research Poster Exhibition will take place on Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13 in the Wilbur Cross Building’s North Reading Room.

Frontiers is the University-wide annual showcase of undergraduate research and creative activity at UConn, where this year we expect more than 270 students from across the disciplines to present posters about their work.

Please note that the repurposing of the Wilbur Cross South Reading Room as a dedicated study space has necessitated a change in format.

New this year, we will have four poster sessions over the course of the two-day exhibition.

    • On Friday, April 12, Session 1 will run from 2:00-3:30pm and Session 2 will run from 4:00-5:30pm.
      • A reception for all student presenters and their faculty mentors will be held immediately following Session 2 at 5:30pm. We will present the Mentorship Excellence Awards at this time.
    • Frontiers will continue on Saturday, April 13, with Sessions 3 and 4 as part of UConn’s Admitted Students Open House. Session 3 will run from 10:00-11:30am and Session 4 will run from 12:00-1:30pm.

UConn’s undergraduate researchers are our first priority in coordinating the Frontiers event; we aim to accommodate all students interested in sharing their research or creative activity with the UConn community. We ask for the faculty’s understanding, as student availability and the need for session breadth may mean that their mentees will be scheduled in different sessions.

Please continue to encourage your student researchers to present their work at Frontiers! The Frontiers application will be open February 25th - March 15th. For more information visit: http://ugradresearch.uconn.edu/frontiers-in-undergraduate-research/
