  • Student Affairs "Not Any More" Program

    Dear Colleagues,

We are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all of our students, staff and faculty.  As part of that commitment, the University now requires that all undergraduate students complete an online interpersonal violence prevention program from Student Success.

Titled Not Anymore, this video-based program provides critical information about Consent, Bystander Intervention, Sexual Assault, Dating and Domestic Violence, Stalking, and more.  Not Anymore is designed to both help students better understand how vitally important these issues are to creating a safe environment and express our community expectations.  Students’ scores on the pre- and post-test portions of Not Anymore increased by 20% - to 93% - after completion.   Given these initial results of a pilot implementation, the University believes these results demonstrate how successful and important the program is.

This program will be required for all undergraduate students who have earned 54 credits by the end of the semester.  It will be available starting February 5, 2019 and will remain accessible until September 9, 2019.  It is important to note that a transcript hold and a registration hold for Fall 2019 courses will be in place until a student earns a 75% on the post test.

If you wish to view the program, it is available at https://studentsuccess.org/DEMO/uconn.  You will need to enter password uconnugrd17demo.  Please note that this link is strictly for demonstration purposes and must not be given out to students.  On average, students completed the program in roughly 60 minutes.

We thank you in advance for your attention to this new requirement for our undergraduate students.  We are becoming a nationwide model for a safer campus through this program and our other University-wide efforts and resources.  Thank you for being an important part of that effort.

    Sincerely,
