    Nutmeg Publishing is HIRING for the following positions:

    Sports Writer for Spring 2019

    •  Attending Uconn sports events that will go in the yearbook
    • Writing copy based off those events
    • Getting all work done in a timely manner, implement Copy Editor feedback, and send to designers
    • Involves attending weekly staff meetings and Introductory Staff Training (1 hr max)
    • Position is paid hourly (17.80-1 hr per week)

    Photo Editor for Spring 2019

    • Oversees photography staff
    • Edits all incoming photos
    • Photography Editor has four (4) days to process and edit photos from the day the photographer notifies photo editor of pictures in specified folder
    • Responsible for meeting deadlines for all photos
    • Reports photography progress to Executive Editors and all Senior Staff
    • Maintains staff check out list for camera equipment
    • Maintains inventory list of all camera equipment
    • Assists with purchases of camera equipment
    • Attend one TRIAD leadership training per semester (5-7pm on Tuesday)
    • Conducts end of the semester evaluations for photographers
    • Proficient with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
    • Base salary: $350/per semester/$700 per year
    • Position paid biweekly at a rate of $12.50 with a maximum of 2 hours per week.
