NSF PIRE Project Opportunity for Honors Students

We are actively recruiting for honors CLAS participants to join this multi-disciplinary research project focusing on food and water security in the Blue Nile Basin.

Students will have the opportunity to develop a thesis in the spring via our bimonthly workshops as well as the opportunity to travel to Ethiopia to collect data, the expenses being covered by the project should their proposal be selected.

We thought this would be a good collaboration for honors students to conduct their honors thesis project.

If you could send out our brochure that has more information, which I’ve attached, that would be appreciated.

For more information about the project the Project Manager is Dr. Zoi Dokou who may be reached at zoi.dokou@uconn.edu or (860) 486-5023.

For students who are interested in attending the informational session on November 12, please have them email me at genevieve.rigler@uconn.edu to join the mailing list.
