Deadlines

  • Honors Thesis Deadline and Extensions

The due date for Honors theses for graduating seniors was last Friday, April 27th, however, if the student has made arrangements with their thesis supervisor and Honors advisor, they may have until Friday, May 11th, to turn in a hard copy and the signed approval form.  Students do not need to inform the Honors office during this two week period.

Students who are not able to turn in their thesis by May 11th, should follow the instructions for requesting a further extension online  at https://honors.uconn.edu/thesis-extensions/. With approval from their thesis supervisor and Honors advisor, students may have an extension until June 13, 2018, by 12:00 p.m. This is the final deadline in order to meet the May 2018 degree conferral cut-off, so we highly recommend that students aim for an earlier date to allow for time for processing.  All grades and Honors credit must be posted on student transcripts and all normal and Honors degree requirements must also be met by this time.  Completion after June 13, 2018 at noon, may result in a delayed degree.  The next degree conferral after May 2018 is August 2018.
