The Honors Program is currently planning the implementation of new Honors requirements for students entering UConn in fall 2018 or later. The new graduation awards will include requirements for events, leadership, and academic enrichment experiences.
We are seeking current Honors students to fill a position that will help guide new students through these co-curricular requirements. This new position is called Honors Guides for Peer Success (Honors GPS), to reflect the journey that students take with us in Honors, and it will be a critical part of the new Honors experience.
We’re hoping you can help us recruit students from your departments, as we want a diversity of majors represented. Please see the full job description for qualifications and expectations. Please note that the commitment, if selected, would be for the full academic year (2018-2019). Completed applications are due by Friday, April 13th at 4pm.
