    Program Administrator

    General Summary:

    The Commercial Finance Association (CFA) is seeking a full-time Program Administrator to work in our NYC headquarters (in immediate proximity to Penn Station).  The Program Administrator will be an energetic and organized individual who will work with the Manager of Professional Development & Chapter Relations to assist in development and delivery of all education programs and initiatives for the organization and for the curriculum design of continuing education opportunities. Individual will also support CFA's Chapter Program and facilitate the flow of information between CFA and the Chapters. This position will work closely with a committee of professional volunteers to deliver results that benefit the organization as well as its national and chapter members.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Education

    • Analyze methods of course content delivery and identify opportunities to improve participant experience.
    • Maintain a yearly calendar for the content needs of the courses.
    • Work with the marketing team to execute the marketing plan for all education programs including email, print and digital media.
    • Work within budgets of specific programs to ensure profitability.
    • Coordinate with venues on class set-up, F&B, A/V, etc. and track expenses.
    • Act as onsite support for both in-person and online courses.
    • Update and maintain website with education course details.
    • Oversee continuing education credits (CPE/CLE) offered for all workshops.
    • Develop surveys and track results to make sure members find high value in offerings.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Chapters:

    • Establish and maintain liaison relationships with CFA's Chapters via phone contact, and regular chapter updates.
    • Point of contact for chapter administrators. Tasked with keeping working, productive relationships with our local counterparts
    • Maintain calendar of Chapter activities and regularly update listings of Chapter events and officers on CFA’s Web site. 
    • Provide tech support between chapter leaders/administrators with assistance from our third-party systems contact

     

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Prior experience and knowledge of the processes used to develop and maintain education content and curriculum in a variety of mediums including in-person and the web is desirable. A willingness to learn and step into a fast-paced, detail-oriented job planning professional trainings is important; we will provide training and guidance.
    • Experience working with volunteers, subject matter experts and other key stakeholders very helpful;
    • Excellent written, oral presentation skills.
    • Quick studies, who are highly organized and driven, are encouraged to apply.  We are looking for people who like working with a dynamic, fast-moving, interactive team. Most of us wear various hats in this organization, and we’ll expect you to do the same.

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education or instructional design preferred;
    • At least two years of experience in an administrative position that includes communication, record keeping, and detail management (or strong internship experience)
    • The ability to travel on occasion
    • Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.
    • Experience in a membership organization and with volunteers a plus;
    • Computer literacy of MS Office products required and experience with CRM databases preferred.
