    The Center for Career Development (CCD) is looking to fill multiple Career Intern positions for the 2018-2019 academic year.

    A Career Intern (CI) holds a prestigious leadership and employment position that requires a significant amount of time, training, and dedication. Training will be provided to interns prior to the beginning of each semester to prepare for the following responsibilities:

    • Critique résumés for undergraduate students.
    • Present to student groups, organizations, and classes on career-related topics.
    • Participate in weekly staff meetings and trainings at the beginning of each academic semester. 
    • Work with full-time staff members on assignments and projects.
    • Disseminate accurate information to students regarding services and programs offered by the Center for Career Development.

    Job Requirements:

    • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills;
    • exhibit self-confidence and a high level of professionalism, especially in the ability to educate and assist others;
    • have the ability to work independently and on a team, and take initiative;
    • display enthusiasm and a positive attitude; demonstrate the ability to work with a variety of personalities and populations;
    • commit to working 10-15 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters.

    Students must be available to complete training assignments virtually in early August, which would require 5-10 hours total. Students must also be available the week before fall 2018 classes begin, in order to participate in training.
