Mark B Bain Graduate Fellowship - Hudson River Foundation (HRF)
The Hudson River Foundation (HRF) awards 6 graduate students a yearlong fellowship to research the Hudson River System, located on the East Coast. These fellowships are awarded to advanced master's and doctoral students to conduct scientific, ecological, or related public policy research on the Hudson River system. The Hudson River runs through New York and New Jersey. In special cases the award can be extended to 15 months. At the end of the grant period a final financial report must be submitted.

No citizenship requirements.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Must be enrolled in an accredited doctoral or master's program. Must have a thesis research plan approved by the university/department. Must have a thesis advisor and advisory committee (if appropriate to the institution). Proposal cover page. Thesis description. Timetable. Budget proposal. CV. A letter from the University stating that the student will receive a tuition waiver or reimbursement for the period of the fellowship. 2 letters of recommendation; 1 must be from the student's advisor and should certify the student's current status.
STIPEND
Stipends up to $15,000 per year for doctoral students and up to $11,000 per year for master students. Incidental research budget up to $1,000 for doctoral and master students.
