Interested in interning or working for Lockheed Martin and Sikorsky? On March 22, 2018, from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Lockheed Martin will be holding a recruiting and technology demonstration open house on campus.
The first part of the event, which will be held on the Student Union Mall at 10 a.m., will feature a helicopter flight, departing directly from the mall, with university officials and UConn Engineering students onboard. Students who RSVP for the event will be entered into a sweepstakes for a seat on the 15-minute helicopter ride. Student winners will be notified by email one week before the event, and will be given instructions on where to report on the morning of the event.
Please note that students who RSVP must attend for at least a portion of the event, in order for the School of Engineering to accurately gauge attendance.
After the opening helicopter ride, there will be a recruiting and demonstration program in the Student Union Ballroom, from 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. During this event, students will have the chance to view Lockheed Martin technologies, use virtual flight simulators, listen to tech talks, and interact with Lockheed Martin employees about internship and career opportunities.
