Applications for the CLAS Student Leadership Board are now open!
The CLAS SLB is a group of students from the College committed to strengthening the academic experience and student community in CLAS. The Board serves as liaisons between the Dean and the students to enhance communications, academic experiences, and alumni connections.
Board members have opportunities for professional development, including:
- leadership experience,
- project and event management,
- marketing and communication skill development,
- student community development,
- public speaking, and
- business decision-making.
Eligible applicants must be students in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences who have spent at least one semester at UConn. Students from all UConn campuses are encouraged to apply.
The group meets every other Thursday from 4:30-6:30 pm, and includes many other volunteer opportunities.
