    In this second Special Edition of The Communiqué, we’ll continue to focus on events and resources to help get you career-ready.

    Highlights

    As part of Major Exploration Week 2018, the COMM Department will hold The COMM Sampler: Speed-Dating the COMM Core Courses on Wednesday, Feb 14 @ 2:30pm ARJ 225. 

    Why You Should Go: If you’re going to take some the exciting upper-level COMM courses later, you’ll need a solid foundation in the core concepts and methodologies in the study of Communication.  Get a sample of what’s in store for you by attending snappy, five-minute presentations of COMM 3000Q (Research Methods) COMM 3100 (Persuasion), COMM 3200 (Interpersonal), and COMM 3300 (Mass Media Effects).  You’ll also get a sneak peak at the course offerings for the Fall 2018 Semester!

    Make Thursday this week Career Day: Attend the Internship & CoOp Fair, which was postponed to THIS Thursday, and then head over later to the Alumni Center at 7pm, for the Spring Edition of COMM Careers NightProfessionals and interns working in Communications and COMM-related fields will share with you what they do, where they do it, and how they got there.  Let them help you get a head start in your Communication career!
