Temporary grades (I, X, and N)are placeholders that are assigned under defined circumstances with a specified deadline by which they will be replaced with a permanent (Letter) grade.
The deadline for Fall Semester temporary grades to be resolved is Monday Feb 5. After this date, temporary grades will be AUTOMATICALLY converted to an F grade (e.g. IF, XF, or NF).
Requests for extensions to the Mon Feb 5 deadline must be submitted to the Dean of Students Office, through this form: https://dos.uconn.edu/incomplete-extension-form/
