Internal Competition Announcement
The Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) is pleased to announce this limited submission funding opportunity/award. Limited submission programs allow only a select number of applicants from each institution. In order to determine which students will be selected as the official representatives from UConn/UConn Health, an OVPR internal competition may be necessary.
All students who wish to be considered for this opportunity must submit a notification of intent to submit form and send in the documentation requested below by the due date.

Eligibility: Graduate Students or advanced undergrads
Number of UConn Applicants: 4 across all UConn/UConn Health campuses
Internal Notification of Intent Deadline: Wednesday, 1/17/2018 by 5PM
Additional information: Along with the notification of intent to submit, interested students must submit a letter of support (including financial support) signed by their advisor and department head to research@uconn.edu. According to the workshop organizers:
Sponsoring institutions may send up to four students and are responsible for a $175 registration fee per student, as well as all associated travel and lodging costs.
Letters of support should address how these costs will be covered by the advisor or department.
