  • Join the UConn Festival Chorus!

    Huskies don't bark, they SING!

If you were in choirs in the past, present, or have always wanted to be a part of one, come join the UConn Festival Chorus this semester! NO AUDITION NECESSARY! This dedicated ensemble is composed of students, faculty, staff and community members that perform masterworks from the choral repertoire. Past concerts have included Faure's Requiem, Haydn's St. Nicholas Mass, Dan Forrest's Requiem for the Living, and last semester, a combined performance of Vaughan Williams' massive A Sea Symphony with the UConn Orchestra, UConn Concert Choir and EO Smith HS Choirs. This semester we are performing choral-orchestral works of lelgendary opera composer Giacomo Puccini, in majestic St. Mary's Church in Willimantic. The choir meets Monday evenings from 7-9pm in the music building, and is under the direction of doctoral student Brian M. Stevens. If you are interested or have any questions, please contact Mr. Stevens - Brian.M.Stevens@uconn.edu
