Iranian Cultural Organization of UConn (ICOU) will be holding an exhibition of Iran (Iran at a glance), and this year we will have a major Yalda theme in our event. Yalda night is the longest night of the year and it marks the beginning of the winter. It is one of the most important days in Iranian calendar when people gather together and celebrate. You're all invited to join us and not only become familiar with various aspects of Iranian culture, but also to celebrate Yalda. We will have variety of fun activities (trivia questions, Persian dubsmash, music, dance etc) and we also serve the very traditional pomegranate and watermelon on a first come first served basis.
