  • Jennings Randolph Scholarship Dissertation Program

    The United States Institute of Peace (USIP) awards 6 PhD students working on their dissertation related to peacebuilding, for 10 months. The awards are for dissertation research concerning the policy and practice in the field of international peacebuilding and conflict management. Scholars conduct research at their universities or other appropriate sites.

    ACADEMIC LEVEL
    Students Working on Doctoral Dissertation.
     

    CITIZENSHIP

    No citizenship requirements.

     

    ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

    Open to PhD candidates that have completed all course work except for their dissertations. Must be enrolled in recognized doctoral programs in accredited universities in the US. For scholars researching and writing dissertations with clear relevance for policy and practice in the field of international peacebuilding and conflict management. 3 references. Project proposal.

     

    STIPEND

    Stipend of $20,000 for 10 months.
