Center for Tobacco Control Research and Education Postdoctoral Fellowships
The Center for Tobacco Control Research and Education directs a postdoctoral fellowship program that offers supervised research experience in tobacco control with members of the Center faculty. Each trainee meets regularly with a faculty mentor regarding research progress and career or professional issues. We offer diverse educational and research opportunities, including postdoctoral fellowships, graduate research positions, advocacy training, and individualized documents training. Our work spans policy and historical research, economics, and science.�Fellows are recruited from a variety of fields including the basic sciences, social sciences, public health practitioners, clinical fields, political science, history, economics, law, and marketing.

NIH National Library of Medicine Associate Fellowship for Librarians
The National Library of Medicine Associate Fellowship Program is a one-year postgraduate training fellowship at the NLM in Bethesda, Maryland, with an optional second year program component. Smithsonian Biodiversity Genomics Postdoctoral Fellowship Program
The Smithsonian Institution (SI) Postdoctoral Fellowship in Biodiversity Genomics promotes collaborative research in these fields involving comparative genomic approaches such as phylogenomics, population genomics, metagenomics or transcriptomics, and have a component that involves significant bioinformatics analysis. The fellows selected will participate in the newly formed Smithsonian Institute for Biodiversity Genomics (SIBG), a pan-institutional program designed to stimulate and create opportunities for biodiversity genomics research at the Smithsonian. The SIBG guides and facilitates genomics research within traditional strengths of the Smithsonian, including studies of the tree of life, ecology, evolution and adaptation, and conservation. The Smithsonian’s molecular research facilities are located at National Museum of Natural History (NMNH), National Zoological Park (NZP), Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (SERC), and the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (STRI) in the Republic of Panama. Collaboration among SI facilities is encouraged.

Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution Postdoctoral Programs
The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution offers several types of postdoctoral awards. A term appointment to the position of Postdoctoral Scholar, Fellow, or Investigator may be offered to an individual who has completed the requirements for a Ph.D. degree. The degree may or may not have been officially awarded; a letter from the individual's university asserting that he or she has completed all of the requirements for the degree is satisfactory for establishing eligibility for the position. Each type of postdoctoral appointment has a slightly different selection and appointment procedure.
