    Alfred Fleishman Diversity Fellowships in Communications

    Alfred Fleishman, one of our agency’s founders, was dedicated to promoting human rights and helping people from diverse backgrounds communicate with and understand one another. In his honor, Fleishman Hillard offers the Alfred Fleishman Diversity Fellowship program. The program targets ethnically diverse candidates and applicants who have a passion for ethnic or cultural diversity. All applicants must demonstrate a commitment to promoting ethnic and cultural diversity through their work, education and life experiences. It provides six- to 12-month paid Fellowships — with benefits — professional development opportunities and a mentor program. Fellows will contribute to client projects while rotating among account teams, gaining practical experience in the field of integrated communications from some of the industry’s best counselors.

    American Association of University Women - Career Development Grants

    Grants of up to $12,000 will be awarded to women who have earned a bachelor's degree in support of coursework toward a degree program other than a doctorate or for specialized training in a technical or professional field. Primary consideration will be given to women of color, women pursuing credentials in a non-traditional field, and women who do not currently hold an advanced degree.

    Asia Foundation Development Fellows Program

    The Asia Foundation Development Fellows: Emerging Leadership for Asia’s Future program provides highly qualified, young professionals from Asia with an unparalleled opportunity to strengthen their leadership skills and gain in-depth knowledge of Asia’s critical development challenges. The year-long professional advancement program draws on The Asia Foundation’s extensive 18-country network and deep expertise working with innovative leaders and communities across the region. The program is designed to be a multifaceted experience, involving intensive learning modules – short courses, conferences, and study tours in Asia and the U.S. – to enhance leadership skills, Asian development knowledge, professional networks, and international exposure.

    Center for Reintegration Scholarships

    Reintegration is an achievable goal and dreams are possible for those who have been touched by mental illness. The Center for Reintegration together with the Sidney R. Baer Jr. Foundation will continue to offer the Baer Reintegration Scholarship for those active in their recovery. These scholarships are for persons with schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, or bipolar disorder. Applicants must be actively involved in rehabilitative or reintegrative efforts, such as clubhouse membership, part-time work, volunteer efforts or school enrollment or in competitive employment.

    Chemical Heritage Foundation Beckman Center Fellowships (Short-term, Dissertation, and Postdoc)

    Fellows come from institutions around the world and study a vast range of topics in the history and social studies of chemistry and related sciences, technologies, and industries.

    Two-Year 80/20 Postdoctoral Fellowships: CHF is pleased to announce the launch of its new 80/20 postdoctoral fellowship program: these new fellowships reflect the Beckman Center’s commitment to providing career-launching fellowships for recent PhDs and its support for the career diversity initiatives of the American Historical Association and affiliated scholarly societies. The 80/20 postdoctoral fellowship program will allow the Beckman Center’s postdocs to build skills that can enhance their opportunities outside the academy or their work within it. Fellows will spend one day a week working closely with a CHF staff member from the library, museum, publications team, Center for Applied History, outreach group, Oral History Program, archives, or digital library team on developing skills in one of two areas: collections and curation, or outreach and exhibitions.

    Inter-American Foundation IAF Grassroots Development Fellowship Program

    IAF’s Fellowships provide support for Ph.D. candidates to conduct dissertation research in Latin America and the Caribbean on topics related to grassroots development. Funding is for between four and 12 months. Fellowships are available to currently registered students who have advanced to candidacy (by the time research begins) for the Ph.D. in the social sciences, physical sciences, technical fields and the professions as related to grassroots development issues. Applicants must obtain a University Certification prior to submission. UA students may contact Georgia Ehlers at the Graduate College at gehlers at email.arizona.edu prior to November 29 request a certification.

    Education Pioneers Graduate Fellowship and Analyst Fellowship

    With a mission to identify, train, connect, and inspire a new generation of leaders dedicated to transforming America's education system so that all students receive a quality education, Education Pioneers has been building a nationwide network of high-potential professionals and supporting them to launch non-teaching education careers since 2004. Fellows work with school districts, charter schools, government agencies, nonprofits, and other leading education organizations to complete critical, high-impact projects that advance Partner organizations' important work. Graduate School Fellowship: Over the course of one summer or one year, the fellow prepares talented business, law, policy, and education graduate students to become education leaders. Analyst Fellowship: This fellowship grants data-savvy working professionals the opportunity to consult for 10 months on a data-driven project within the education space.

    Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (also for the Humanities)

    The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Fellowship Program provides recent PhD recipients and ABDs (please see program eligibility requirements) with opportunities to conduct research in Japan under the leadership of a host researcher. Fellows are encouraged to advance their own research and at the same time closely collaborate with young Japanese researchers and contribute to Japanese research communities.
