Come join UConn PIRG’s Hunger and Homelessness Campaign in association with the Human Rights Institute and Community Outreach’s No Freeze Shelter for a screening of Frontline’s “Poor Kids” film. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with special guests from the No Freeze Shelter in Willimantic as well as a gallery of artwork created by the residents of the No Freeze Shelter. This event is part of the PIRG campaign’s weeklong Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, and the campaign will be happy to accept donations for the shelter at the event.
