Provides assistance to staff and faculty in the preparation of informational or promotional print media and/or public relations. May be required to: Write articles, press releases, newsletters, media guides, programs, and other informational or promotional materials for both hardcopy print and web-based formats (may specialize in a particular content area) Conduct interviews by phone or in person Conduct research utilizing databases, archives, internet, and other information sources Attend and cover University events Assist in training of other student employees Perform basic administrative duties such as filing, data entry, word processing, etc. Participate in training sessions and staff meetings Perform miscellaneous duties as required |
