Title: Positive Youth Development Worker
Location: SAND School in Hartford (http://sand.hartfordschools.org/)
Qualifications: High school diploma required. Associates degree preferred. Ideally, candidates will have experience working with youth, especially inner city students. Need to be able to pass background/DCF checks.
Hours: Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri - 2:45 to 6:15pm & Tues 1:30pm to 4:45pm
Pay Rate: $10.68/hr
Description: In charge of a grade school group of students (approx. 15 students, grades 1-8), leading academic and recreational activities as well as providing homework assistance. (I assume the groups are divided by grade, but I’m not sure.)
