Join us for a powerful speaking event …

Suicide Prevention Week Keynote Speaker – Jamie Tworkowski

Wednesday, 9/27/17, 7:00pm, at the Jorgensen

UConn’s Suicide Prevention Committee is honored to host Jamie Tworkowski as our keynote speaker of this year’s Suicide Prevention Week.   Jamie Tworkowski is the founder of To Write Love On Her Arms (TWLOHA), a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. Now a global phenomenon, TWLOHA began as the simple attempt to tell the story of a friend in need, reminding us all that "You are not alone, and this is not the end of your story." In this moving event, Jamie will share his story and that of TWLOHA, followed by a Q&A at the end of the evening.

This event is free and open to the public.
