    GEM Consortium Fellowships
The mission of The National GEM Consortium is to enhance the value of the nation’s human capital by increasing the participation of underrepresented groups (African Americans, American Indians, and Hispanic Americans) at the master’s and doctoral levels in engineering and science.
GEM provides three Fellowship Programs.MS Engineering Fellowship Program: The objective of this program is to promote the benefits of a masters degree within industry. Ph.D. Engineering Fellowship: The objective of this program is to offer doctoral fellowships to underrepresented minority students who have either completed, are currently enrolled in a master’s in engineering program, or received admittance into a PhD program directly from a bachelor’s degree program. Ph.D. Science Fellowship: The goal of this program is to increase the number of minority students who pursue doctoral degrees in the natural science disciplines.
Citizenship: U.S. citizen or permanent resident
