  • Who's the Graduate Student Intern of the Year?

    The Center for Career Development is accepting applications for the University of Connecticut’s 2017 Graduate Student Intern of the Year. This award is granted to a current graduate student who is recognized by both the internship organization and the University of Connecticut for displaying exceptional qualities and making significant contributions during their internship. There may be multiple semi-finalists and one 2017 UConn Graduate Student Intern of the Year will be chosen.

    Criteria for Applying

    • Completed all hours and requirements of the internship as defined by the employer and/or the University; the internship must have lasted a minimum of eight weeks between 9/1/16 and 8/31/17 during your graduate program at UConn.
    • You must currently be in good standing with the University.
    • Leadership: Have demonstrated leadership ability and taken initiative in the internship to go above and beyond position requirements.
    • Academic achievement: Submit a transcript with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0/4.0.
